Baby Shower Ideas...

I made the cutest diaper cake for my best friend back in Feburary. It was my very first attempt and I was quite please with how it turned out. My mom and I had the best time buy up all the stuff and putting it together for my Peanut...











I totally think I am missing a step here. I am not sure how to get the list of links on my page. Help! Anyone stumbles upon my page...let me know!!! I like the blog hops, I'm just having a blonde moment! HA!

T.G.I.F.

I am so glad today is Friday, and my work week is over...Till Monday anyway. I have been a little under the weather this week. I'm pretty sure that its all sinus mess. I've pretty much kept a headache since Wednesday, but today it was at its worst. I was going to go see my bestie and Peanut up in Murfreesboro (not sure on that spelling!), but I don't want to get either of them sick IF I'm contagious.

By the way...

Jules had a beautiful baby boy Thursday night. 8 lbs and 20 1/5 inches long. I was also going to see them Saturday, but that will have to wait also. Congrats guys can't wait to meet the 'lil guy!

Monday...

Mondays are always long days. It was really hard getting back into the swing of things this morning. I really didn't want to get out of bed. It's always hard after a couple of days off.

I really wasn't looking forward to going to work today. We are testing a new version of PAM system. This is the first "TEST" that I've had to do at work. Let me tell you, this is not fun. I have to post my trades into the current system, and then turn around and post them in a total seprate "test" system...this doubles my work. I really didn't think I was going to get out of there on time, but thankfully I did! On a normal day I have about 1,239,500 steps to do in PAM...Well, untill mid September it will be 1,239,500 times 2. Oh what fun. Oh well, does me no good to complain. I'm just greatful that I have a good paying job in todays economy. Plus, I love my job, that always helps. I am glad to be where I am Just a year after graduation.

I have a confession...during my down time at work...is when I read other peoples blogs! It helps pass the time! That is really what got me to wanting to start my own. So far, so good...I am usually not one to tell it like it is, or always say whats on my mind...Just ask my hubby. So, we will see what all I actually get typed out in this virtual world. I am really hoping that bloging will help me become more of a picture taker. I usually carry a camera around with me, but hardly EVER take any pictures, I want that to change. I like to read the blogs that tell the story along with pictures.

Randomness...

I just got a text message from the beautiful people below saying that they are due to have a baby in NO more than 3 days!!! Jules is a good friend of B's from highschool, and the first from that whole group to have a 'lil one. We are all exctied for J & J. Best wishes to you guys!!!!

Yes, you read that right! 4 Chihuahuas! These dogs are like our children. We treat them like they are kids. They are so spoiled. I mean these dogs get Christmas presents! I will get to them a little later in this post...

What can I say, I love this man! He can make me laugh at the drop of a hat. He is always keeping a smile on my face. B and I met June of 2004...WOW! That makes me feel so old! B works hard so that we can have what we have in life.

I'm going to be working on my layout a bit. I'm just happy that I figured out how to change the layout!!! I will definitely be looking for another picture. That's the only decent one I have of me and Hubby on the 'ol laptop.

First Blog...

Don't really have much to say, but I've been wanting to start a blog for a while. I had a myspace for a long time, and I just wanted to start/try something new. I hope that this blog will help me keep in touch with family and friends that are out of town.

Now I'm off to try and figure out this whole blog thing! HA...this could take a while...I had to have Myspace for Dummies training...HA!
